What are the SYMPTOMS of SLE??
- Arthritis [ hmmmm?]*

[yay!] Arthritis : Consists of more than 100 diseases (ooH!) where the joints, surrounding tissues and other connective tissues are affected. Arthritis can cause mild to severe pain in the joints, as well as joint swelling. Arthritis occurs more in women than men. Pleural Effusions : It is the accumulation of fluid between the layers of tissue that surround the lungs and chest cavity. Psychosis : Loss of contact with reality, and usually includes thinking about false ideas about what is taking place or who one is (delusions) and seeing or hearing things that aren't there(hallucinations). Seizures : Seizures happen because of a sudden and abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Not all seizures cause convulsions! Skin Rash : A "butterfly" rash over the cheeks & the bridge of the nose. The rash gets worse under sunlight! The rash may also be widespread. Swollen Glands : Enlargement of one or more lymph nodes!
